The YMCA in Ballarat

Ballarat YMCA is a community based organisation which delivers programs and services to build healthier, happier and connected communities. We work in partnership with local government, non-profit groups and other community service organisations in the areas of recreation, health and fitness, children's services, youth and family services.

In 2018 YMCA Ballarat merged with YMCA Grampians and is now located at Barkly Square, Ballarat. This historic site was fomerly Ballarat Secondary College, and is now a vibrant hub ​shared by a number of community based organisations.

The YMCA is an organisation which believes in the power of inspired young people and ​helping communities to be healthier and happier. YMCA Ballarat & Grampians has operations in many locations throughout regional and rural Victoria, involving people of all ages and abilities. Our purpose remains focused on the development of individuals and communities in body, mind and spirit.
