The Food, Fire & Light Festival is a celebration of fire in the goldfields and the history therein. This event ignites the senses through artistic display, food and flavour, and fire. From the 1850s onward, people moved to our region from across the globe and in tow brought a vast array of traditions. Fire was the heartbeat of this gold-driven migration, and this festival seeks to commemorate the warmth and life that came from this.
