VITRAFY LIFE SCIENCES ARE LIVE ON THE STOCK EXCHANGE

Vitrafy Life Sciences are aiming to become the global leader in biomedical cryopreservation, but their journey has started right here in Ballarat. In fact, they are the first start-up out of the region to take their company public and go live on the Stock Exchange. Vitrafy are operating with ingenuity and ambition, developing new technology that has the potential to change the way their sector operates. Historically, cryopreservation processes, such as freezing and thawing, caused high levels of cellular damage to bio materials which resulted in low quality outcomes, increased processing costs and the inability to cryopreserve some biomaterials at all.
