AGRITOURISM DEVELOPMENT MENTORING PROGRAM

Tourism Midwest Victoria has launched a new mentoring program to support local agriculture businesses to diversify into agritourism.

Agritourism is a fast-growing industry that connects visitors with authentic agricultural experiences on farms or rural land, while offering businesses the ability to generate additional income, diversify operations, and showcase their region in a unique way to attract new visitors.

Tourism Midwest Victoria’s Agritourism Development Mentoring Program has been designed to support 10 farmers who are at the beginning of their agritourism journey or those who are already delivering agritourism experiences and are looking to refine or expand.

The program will be delivered through a dedicated one-on-one mentoring program (five mentoring sessions) to develop or refine an offering.
