CHRISTMAS TRADING HOURS: PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND CHANGE TO EMPLOYEE ENTITLEMENT

As we approach the festive season, please be aware that there will be temporary changes to trading hours and employee entitlements. In Victoria, the calendar Public Holidays are Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day. Where there is apublic holiday, an employee will generally be entitled to public holidaypenalties or payments in accordance with the relevant industrial instrument(i.e. modern award or enterprise agreement).
