FIRE RESTRICTIONS COMING IN AT THE END OF THIS MONTH

As we head into summer and the temperature increases, many restrictions are following suit. The Fire Danger Period for Ballarat, the Golden Plains, Moorabool and Hepburn shires will begin later this month. It is important to prepare your property and your workplace ahead of time. The period begins on Monday November 25th, running until Thursday May 1st next year. These restrictions mean all open fires aren’t allowed without a permit.
