SHORT-STAY LEVY WEBINAR FROM VICTORIA TOURISM INDUSTRY COUNCIL

There are a multitude of upcoming webinars for local accommodation operators, run as a means of educating them about the incoming short-stay levy. This will be from January 1st, and will impact many local properties. The proposed 7.5% levy will apply to short-term accommodation, including bookings made through Airbnb and Stayz. It will be overseen by the State Revenue Office, and these online sessions will cover the key details business owners need to know and how it will impact them. Learn more here.
